Women come from Venus and men from Mars, right? Well, moms and dads definitely also seem to come from different planets and have completely different ways of thinking. This already starts during pregnancy where mom-to-be starts reading everything there is to read about pregnancy, what to eat, symptoms, babies, raising kids etc. etc., whereas dads usually just carry on with their normal life the day the baby actually arrives.
For some laughs before the weekend starts, see how mom thinks versus how dads think.
Mom: “Ok, let´s change your diaper”
Dad: “Babe, I think he pooped….”
Mom: gives baby a bath in the evening
Dad: gives baby a bath in the evening and calls for input at least 4 times (need help undressing, where is the towel, to wash his hair or not ,which pajama to put)
Mom: Finally, almost time for bed. Winddown time…
Dad: Let´s fool around a bit, run after each other through the house and do some fun tickle games.
Mom: Hubby is away on a business trip, I am going to have my hands full
Dad: Wife is away on a business trip…. *Calls his mom for help*
Mom: Hates going to the grocery store with the kids because of all the judging looks
Dad: Loves going to the grocery store with the kids because of all the approving looks
Mom: Is alone with the baby and also does the laundry, unloads the dishwasher and prepares dinner
Dad: Is alone with the baby and can´t do anything else in the house because he is alone with the baby
Mom: drops the baby at daycare after a rough night (still in PJs, a make-up less face, unwashed hair in a mom bun) and gets disapproving looks from the other moms who all look fab
Dad: drops the baby at daycare after a rough night (unshaven, unwashed hair, t-shirt with shorts) and get approving looks from the other moms because he looks sexy
Mom: Crisis in the morning, guess I am going to be late for work (again!)
Dad: Crisis in the morning, sorry need to go to work, bye!
