This week has been quite a weird week in terms of schedule since Tuesday and Thursday were bank holidays in Spain. So it was an interval of work, day off, work, day off, work and now almost weekend. Quite disorientating because every working day felt like a Friday and the next day then felt like Sunday eve and this 3x in a row. Well, I am not complaining.
My favorite moment from the past week was definitely the huge birthday surprise that my family prepared for me. It´s already almost a week ago but I am still a bit on a high from the awesome time we had together. I knew I would get two visitors for the weekend from the Netherlands, however when we were having a coffee on a terrace after they arrived suddenly my entire family came walking towards us. I am not often without words but I didn´t understand AT ALL how this was possible. But it was definitely the best birthday ever! And frankly, since this Christmas won´t be an easy one, it was also just what I needed.
The days off were great to get some stuff done in the house (organising closets wohooo), to just spend time together and relax. Our new favorite activity with the bichin is to go “biking” on his new tricycle.
End of year is coming close
It´s almost half December y´all! Can´t believe how fast time is passing by. We only have a few weeks left of 2016 so it´s time to start planning 2017 and give that last push for your 2016 goals. I am re-reading some of my favorite books to get stuff done (yep, the advantage of a long train commute to work, plenty of time to read!): the Miracle Morning, The ONE thing, the 4h workweek and Start with Why. If you´re still looking for some great productivity books for yourself or as a Christmas gift for someone, these are definitely recommendable, I have read all of them already several times.
