This week C has been away for a field hockey trip so I was home alone with the bichin. (Seriously, every time he is away for a trip, I admire single moms even more) Being alone took a little more logistics to make it work with daycare, work and babysitters, but we made it through. Some highlights of the week…
If you´re home alone it´s much harder to get out and meet with friends because you need a babysitter every single time. So, instead, I invited friends over for dinner and drinks at my place on Saturday and Wednesday. Perfect to have some girls time after the bichin went to bed. And the other nights were spent catching up on work and Netflix…
Taking the bottle away
Now that the bichin gets more and more teeth, we slowly want to start taking the dummy away and stopping with the bottle. Especially the first one is a challenge because he seems like an addict! Went surprisingly easy!
Little field hockey champ
Maybe it was because his dad was away for field hockey, but the bichin just wanted to play with this little field hockey stick this week and pass the ball. Obviously, when trying to pass the ball he is basically hitting all the furniture so sometimes I had to hide all the sticks to avoid seeing my house fall apart. Until he found the stash….
