30 weeks…. somehow I always find this the serious milestone in a pregnancy. Don´t ask me why, but 30 weeks just feels so close to 40 already and I am not sure I am ready for that! This week we finally put up the wallpaper in the baby room, and it looks awesome! CONTINUE READING
Last week was a bit hectic with sick people and i didn´t get to posting the 28 weeks update therefore. But catching up this week. Can´t believe it´s already over 29 weeks, meaning it´s probably less than 11 weeks before the baby gets here….iekkkk! This week I did something totally out of my comfort zone as far as birth prepping goes and I am still not 100% sure I want to continue with it. I hadn´t never heard of this but when I saw my neighbour 2 days after giving birth already kneeling in the garden to play with the toddlers and sitting on the floor with them I was like, “what on earth did you do, didn´t you have a baby like 2 minutes ago?” she told me about a special kind of physiotherapy she had been doing to prepare for birth.
Aaaaand I think that means we´re in 3rd trimester!! Help!! That means in no-time this pregnancy will be over… I catch myself often thinking “only so many weeks until Christmas” or “only so many weeks until I will go on leave” but then very soon after that, that means this giving birth thingy is coming scaringly close as well! Ieeeeeek
This week was busy with two days to Madrid for work (and the long commute is basically exhausting me!) and somehow I have some kind of nesting / decluttering / everything-needs-to-go obsession so I nothing in our house is safe and the filled garbage bags are leaving the house at a very rapid speed.
Time is flying by and we´re already over 25 weeks, can´t believe how fast this pregnancy is going! The last week has been a bit more tough, due to a lot of back pain and since it was a national holiday in Spain on Thursday, but all schools were off in our town on Wednesday & Friday as well, I decided to take two extra days off and we spontaneously went on a trip to the Pyrenees. Best decision ever! Just three days of doing nothing, disconnecting, being outside and enjoying the quietness of rural life.
