What a week, I am so ready for the weekend! Let´s hope the bichin will also understand the concept “weekend” because my oh my, he has been waking up at insane times this week. One day it was 4am, the next one 5.30am and today it was 6.15am… Well, at least we´re increasing right, so maybe tomorrow it will be back to a more sane 7am? (A mom can dream right)
This week I always considered as a bit weird. I always thought working out in front of a video was ridiculous and awkward (no offence) and that I was more of a gym, running and field hockey kinda girl. Well, I haven’t really stepped foot inside a gym for months, the winter gives me way too many excuses for NOT going for that run and I can’t go to field hockey training as often as I would want to due to babysitting needs… So online home workouts are basically the only realistic way to keep me moving in this moment in life so I just went with it. It was a little bit awkward (I am happy nobody saw it) but I definitely finished sweating and tired.
This week C has been away for a field hockey trip so I was home alone with the bichin. (Seriously, every time he is away for a trip, I admire single moms even more) Being alone took a little more logistics to make it work with daycare, work and babysitters, but we made it through. Some highlights of the week…
Thanks to Groupon for sponsoring this post, as always all thoughts and content are completely my own.
I hate to admit it but probably one of my biggest weaknesses is online shopping. I have always had a hate-love relationship with shopping in the stores, on the one hand I could really look forward to a great day of shopping but then when the day was there after 30minutes I was pretty much annoyed and over it. Something with unflattering mirrors, getting in and out of your clothes the whole time, busy stores and the works. That´s why I quickly turned to online shopping.
Woohoooo, it´s Friday and we have a busy weekend ahead here! Tomorrow I am headed to Valencia for two indoor hockey matches (which we´re probably going to lose but hey, it´s all about the fun right?) and Sunday C has an indoor match, followed by some tapas and in the afternoon a playdate with friends. Can´t wait! This week has been a busy one, both at work and at home.
