It´s already been 3 weeks since my latest bump update and the fact I haven´t posted much is because life has been a bit crazy over. We started with a visitor marathon from the Netherlands and then C left to India for 2 weeks. Luckily my sisters were here to cover most of the trip, to keep me company and to help me out at home with the little crazy guy in combination with a growing bump. Was great to spend some time with them and Lucas enjoyed a lot to have his aunties over.
They also brought a lot of stuff from the Netherlands for baby #2, I think my mom was already getting a bit desperate of all the packages I had delivered to her house. So, nursery prepping has continued now with all the goodies I ordered. So, the last weeks have been a lot of family quality time, birthday celebrations, “Sint Nicholas” celebrations (if you´re not in Holland, you bring Holland to you) and little outings. Now we have a long week ahead of us and after that C will finally come back, so really looking forward to that. The little guy is also missing his dad a lot and has had a few regular nights because of it, so can´t wait for being the 3 of us at home again.
How I am feeling
Still feeling quite good, just tired and daily life stuff can become a bit of a struggle. Shoes are not my best friends (got the Uggs out, it´s cold anyway) and also getting L dressed when he is sitting on the potty is getting more and more uncomfy. I hate being so exhausted all the time but I guess it could all be much worse, I don´t have many typical pregnancy complaints (knock-on-wood).
Still chocolate and, a new one, mandarins. Guess that one isn´t too bad :).
Again very few weight gain, we´re at +12 kilos now (unbelievable with the amounts I am eating).
All the shopping was done and, thanks to the Dutch visitors, delivered here. Nursery is starting to take shape, will have a big nursery reveal up once it´s done but here´s a little sneak peek already (in love with our new docking station that was gifted from Tally Tate, will come in so handy!!):
