Time is flying by and we´re already over 25 weeks, can´t believe how fast this pregnancy is going! The last week has been a bit more tough, due to a lot of back pain and since it was a national holiday in Spain on Thursday, but all schools were off in our town on Wednesday & Friday as well, I decided to take two extra days off and we spontaneously went on a trip to the Pyrenees. Best decision ever! Just three days of doing nothing, disconnecting, being outside and enjoying the quietness of rural life.
Having some rest and calm days worked well for me as well, my back is good as well and almost back to normal so that´s great. Here are some shots of our little getaway:
How I am feeling
So apart from back pain, i have been feeling pretty good. The back was annoying though, especially with a 2yo around that once in a while wants to be carried by his mommy and my heart couldn´t bear it to say “no” all the time so that obviously didn´t make it better. If I was laying down it was fine but long periods on my feet were not ideal, so I skipped the commute to work this week and took the second half of and now it´s much better.
I think I might have a sugar addiction, next week I have the pregnancy glucose test so that can get interesting.
Not in the mood for the scale this week because I feel huge, I promise a real update on weight next week!
I bought an awesome jade colored canopy to hang above the crib that is a perfect match with the wall paper we picked. I can´t wait for both to arrive so I can start setting up the nursery! I also picked out some great printables for the wall! Oh, and apart from baby shopping, I teamed up with Revive and got myself a pink bracelet. This bracelet is a phone charger as well and parts of profits go to ending energy poverty, something I am very passionate about. (Also, since October is national breast cancer awareness month, they are also donating parts of all pink bracelets sold to the National Breast Cancer Foundation). How cool is it to have a super cute bracelet that is also useful and does some good for the world?
