It´s Friday again so time for a new bump update and update in general basically. It has been a busy week, with my last two office days in Madrid before we take off to the Netherlands for 4 weeks. I am just taking a few days holidays but will be working from there, this will give us some quality time with family & friends and C has the Eurocup in Amsterdam so that way we are all in the same country at least. And for the bichin some good Dutch immersion instead of only listening to his mom rambling in Dutch all the time. We´re flying on Monday and the fact that I need to pack for such a long time (and for all temperatures because the weather sucks in NL now but we will also have a week at the beach at the end of the trip).
How I am feeling
Still feeling pretty good, have been a bit tired this week and at the end of the day, my mini bump starts hurting a bit. Although I still think I can´t complain compared to other pregnant ladies around me, this pregnancy is definitely harder on me than the last one. Probably the fact that I have an overactive 2yo that thinks I am the most fun climbing item from the playground and needs some serious chasing every day, doesn´t really help and makes the typical “your extreme tiredness will fade again in the 2nd trimester” not really happen. So after that little guy goes to bed, I usually have just enough energy left to crash on the couch with some Netflix. Goodbye, productive evenings…
This week I HAD to have sushi… Yeah, not really a possibility when pregnant. But, I ordered veggie sushi and the one without raw fish and it was awesome. Guess what´s on the menu for tonight :)? Apart from that, I am sticking with my chocolate and mayo addiction.
I think this week has added half a kilo or so, so that makes it 2,5 kilos so far.
No shopping this week but I did receive my new diaper bag that was gifted from Pacapod, and it´s awesome! It´s so beautiful I want to use it as my normal purse every day and at the same time is the most practical diaper bag I have ever seen. Watch this space for a more elaborate review of this beauty!
